The Village of Mt. Auburn’s water distribution system was experiencing multiple watermain breaks, creating problems with low water pressure and discoloration, and the potential for unsafe levels of bacteria.  In 2017 Milano & Grunloh      Engineers, LLC assisted in securing $500,000 in DCEO CDBG Grant funds for the Village to make necessary upgrades to the system. The $553,200 project will include the replacement of 14,495 feet of water main, hydrants, and meters. MB Construction broke ground on the project in April 2019, and should be completed by early Fall 2019.
