The Village of Teutopolis partnered with Wooden Shoe Development to transform 20 acres of farmland west of Teutopolis into Commercial Subdivision. The Village utilized $99,000 in RBEG grant funds, $362,600 in IDOT EDP grant funds, $37,300 in TARP grant funds, $225,000 in RLF funds and Wooden Shoe Development contributed approximately $66,000 in funds for the project. Commercial Subdivision features a new 80,000 lb. concrete street with curb and gutters, and storm sewer; a new sanitary sewer and lift station; and a new 10” watermain.
Milano & Grunloh Engineers, LLC completed all necessary work to complete the street, sanitary sewer, water, and storm sewer design. Milano & Grunloh Engineers also assisted the Village and the Developer in securing the funds to make the project a reality. Thank you for allowing us to contribute to the success of this project.
