The Village of Dieterich is a growing village in Central Illinois. Due to growth and age, the Village’s facultative lagoon was not providing adequate treatment. The Village evaluated an aerated lagoon and an activated sludge plant as alternatives. Due to maintenance and capital costs, the Village selected an aerated lagoon to provide sewage treatment for the Village into the future. Milano & Grunloh Engineers, LLC provided the design, permitting, and construction guidance, resident engineering, and inspection for this project.
