Gila Water Treatment Plant
The Gila Water Treatment Plant is EJ Water Cooperative, Inc.’s second water treatment plant in the past five years. The water treatment plant has a capacity of 1.5 MGD and a 1 MGD ground storage tank. Milano & Grunloh Engineers, LLC, assisted with obtaining funds, surveying, design, and construction inspection. The plant started providing water in the fall of 2015. The project was funded with Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunities and USDA Rural Development funds.
