Safe Routes to School
The City of Arcola recently completed a Safe Routes to School project in 2014, which consisted of sidewalk removal and replacement, staff parking, and a drop lane for students and staff. This project increased the safety of students and staff members by allowing them to have a safe, direct route to the school. Milano & Grunloh Engineers assisted with all aspects of the project, which included acquiring funding, surveying, design, and construction inspection.
